Consign to the National Auction

A Great Sale and Great Reasons to Consign!
There are few things more important to any livestock industry than a strong breed association, and the AOA National Auction auction is one of our association’s principal funding tools. For any of you who may not be completely familiar with the inner workings of the National Auction, AOA receives:

  • 100% of consignment fees
  • plus 100% of revenue from donated alpacas and items (No commission is charged on these items)
  • plus 100% of catalog advertising revenue
  • 50% of commissions on consigned alpacas

As you can see, there is a great opportunity for AOA to raise several tens of thousands of dollars as a result of this single event. This years’ entry fee is just $1,000, and the minimum commission is $500, making this one of the lowest “total cost of entry”, of any major consignment sale. Simultaneously, the event has one the largest guaranteed groups of potential bidders due to its association with the National Show.
